About

I’m a proud Gansett Girl who born and raised in the Pier, across the street from the Town Hall. Growing up in Narragansett, I fell in love with the ocean, the small-town feel, and the way everyone feels like family. My connection to this town runs deep—my mom was a local teacher, my dad a local cop, and my family has generational roots here. As I grew up, Narragansett shaped me in countless ways.

In Narransett, we learned to work hard, respect our elders, and appreciate our close-knit community. Sure, we had our fun and sometimes got into trouble, but we came out alright! Friend groups crossed age and background, and many of those bonds remain strong to this day—even the casual ones. Having moved around in my adult years, I realize how rare that connection is. For some people, going back to their hometown isn’t even an option. They have no desire. I can’t imagine that.

To me, being a Gansett Girl is about cherishing the friendships from childhood and being there for each other through life’s highs and lows. There are Gansett Girl groups from every generation—those who came before us, and those who came after. That's special. And it is my hope the tradition carries on.

I started making these T-shirts to celebrate those Gansett Girl connections and the love for our 02882. Whether you're a Gansett Girl (or Guy!), by birth or by choice, I hope my designs bring a bit of Narragansett love to you.

With much love,
